Project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 14E with asphalt concrete pavement, nearly 4km long

Accordingly, Thang Binh district handed over 13.6/17.4km (accounting for 78%); Hiep Duc district handed over 26.6/30.2km (accounting for 88%) and Phuoc Son district handed over 22/23.78km (accounting for 92%). The investor's representative directed the contractor to carry out construction on almost the entire handed-over site. However, some sections can only be constructed with longitudinal ditches and site clearance because the length is too short.

Up to this point, the bidding packages have been carrying out the construction of the crushed stone layer on the entire road surface with a total length of about 24km. Regarding the asphalt concrete pavement, the contractor can only deploy it through the area of Thang Binh district. Currently, the intersection section at Phu Binh intersection with DT611B route (Hiep Duc area) is striving to have an asphalt concrete pavement of about 800m.

Representative of Dong Thuan Ha Company Limited (the enterprise constructing the section from km15+270 to km27+314 in Thang Binh), engineer Trinh Xuan Toan - Deputy Commander of Construction Package 01 said that in July, the contractor paved the section through Binh Dinh Bac commune, which is more than 1.6km long, and Binh Tri commune, which is 500m long. This time, the contractor is paving the section through Binh Tri commune, which is 3 sections with a total length of 1.8km.

Regarding the bridge items of the entire project, the railway overpass through Binh Quy commune (Thang Binh district) has not yet been handed over. For Kenh 2 bridge (Binh Lam commune, Hiep Duc district), the contractor has just agreed on the access road and is currently constructing, striving to complete it this year. The remaining bridges have been and are urgently under construction.
