The workshop was attended by experts, scientists , and technology entrepreneurs living in many countries.

The workshop focused on major topics shaping the global digital economy, such as: the application of data science and artificial intelligence (AI) for innovation; data policies, infrastructure, and markets; human resources and technology driving innovation; and policies and investment for the data economy.

Experts from France, Germany, Canada, Singapore, Belgium, and other countries brought international perspectives and shared experiences in data deployment and management across various sectors, from healthcare and energy to education and the creative industries. Accordingly, Vietnam is facing a great opportunity to shape a national strategy for the data economy, as its digital infrastructure and technological workforce are rapidly developing.

The conference also features a technology showcase from startups in the field of data processing, collection, and analysis, along with a networking program connecting experts, investors, and innovative businesses.

In their presentations, experts shared insights on various in-depth topics such as: "Data Centers - Drivers of Digital Transformation and Challenges in the Economy and Environment," "Applications of Linked Learning in Biomedical Data Security," "National Strategy for Open Source Data in AI Development," and "Blockchain - A Platform for Building Trusted Data in Enterprise Digital Transformation"...

According to delegates, to develop an effective data economy, close cooperation is needed between the government, businesses, research institutes, and experts, similar to successful international models such as BDVA (EU), Data.gov (USA), or AI Singapore. The VDEN network is expected to become a knowledge bridge, gathering initiatives and implementing data projects at the regional and global levels, contributing to Vietnam's innovation journey.
