On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), a large audience inside and outside the province had the opportunity to enjoy the Nghe Tinh folk song play "Mother Waits" on television and social media platforms of Ha Tinh Newspaper. This is the initial result of the cooperative efforts between Ha Tinh Newspaper and the Provincial Traditional Arts Theater (NTTT), aiming to realize the Project of Dramatizing Television under the program "Stage and Life".

Mr. Pham Ba Nhien (67 years old, Doan Ket village, Can Loc commune) emotionally shared: “The play made us shed tears many times when remembering the losses and sacrifices of heroes, martyrs and mothers in the rear. It has been a long time since there was a Nghe Tinh folk song play that was elaborately staged, with beautiful images and touching content broadcast on provincial television. We hope to see more programs like this.”
“Mother Waits” is just a pilot project but has shown the potential and influence of combining ICT with modern media. The project is being finalized to be submitted to the Provincial People’s Committee for approval and implementation in the near future.
As a professional art unit, the Provincial Theater of Television not only coordinates the production of television programs but also organizes many live performances, especially in remote areas and in major events of the province.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Chuong - Deputy Director of Ha Tinh NTTT Theater said: "We always strive to let the public access and enjoy performing arts. Each program is invested in art and conveys humane messages, imbued with cultural identity, the people of Hong Mountain - La River".
In addition to coordinating the performance of the play “Mother Waits” in July, the theater has organized and performed many quality art programs for the public throughout the province. Typical examples include: the program “Dong Loc forever echoes gratitude”; the program at the Opening Ceremony of the Asian Pencak Silat Championship, the art program touring to welcome Party congresses at all levels... Entering August, in addition to continuing touring the program to welcome Party congresses at all levels, the theater also staged a program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Provincial Armed Forces Traditional Day, the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection.

Not only the NTTT Theater, the Provincial Center for Culture, Cinema and Tourism Promotion also contributes to bringing performing arts closer to the people. The center's art programs not only serve provincial and regional competitions but also serve to propagate the policies and guidelines of the Party and State to a large number of compatriots and soldiers in remote and isolated areas.
In July 2025, the center staged the folk song play “Please Love” on the theme of family culture, serving people in Mai Hoa commune, Huong Son commune, etc. It is expected that in the near future, the center will widely tour the art program to celebrate the success of Party congresses at all levels, with many performances praising the Party, Uncle Ho and the homeland.
Mr. Tran Van Sang - Deputy Director of the Provincial Center for Culture, Cinema and Tourism Promotion shared: "We wish to bring to the audience programs that are both rich in artistic value and imbued with the breath of the times, thereby fostering love for the homeland and national pride."

The common point in the programs of the NTTT Theater and the Provincial Center for Culture, Cinema and Tourism Promotion is the harmonious combination of traditional and modern values. Not only serving the political mission and propagating the Party's guidelines, the programs also promote humanistic values, contributing to building a healthy cultural environment, closely connected with community life.
From brightly lit stages in the central city to tours in remote areas, or broadcasts on television and social networks, performing arts in Ha Tinh continue to reach closer to the public, creating a strong connection between artists and audiences, between the homeland's cultural heritage and today's life.
