Duc Phuc has decided to urgently spend 1 billion VND, taken from the prize money worth more than 9 billion VND for the Intervision 2025 championship, to help the people of Central Vietnam overcome the severe consequences caused by storm Bualoi.

Faced with the severe consequences caused by storm Bualoi (storm number 10) in the central coastal region, Duc Phuc immediately carried out the above act of charity.

Previously, at a press conference on the afternoon of September 27 in Hanoi, right after returning from the Intervision 2025 competition, Duc Phuc said he planned to donate 1 billion VND to charity in Vietnam, especially for children and lonely elderly people... "This is both a way to celebrate victory, commemorate the 10-year milestone in the profession; and a way to show gratitude to Vietnamese audiences who have always followed and supported Duc Phuc not only in the recent Intervision competition but also throughout his 10-year career," the Intervision champion shared. Duc Phuc said he and his team will carefully research reputable charity funds to have a reasonable allocation, reaching the cases that need the most help.

However, in the face of the severe damage caused by storm No. 10 to the people of Central Vietnam, the Intervision 2025 champion decided to urgently spend 1 billion VND to promptly help the government and people overcome the consequences of the storm.

Through his charitable actions, the person who brought the image of Vietnamese bamboo to the Intervision 2025 stage, inspired by the poem Vietnamese Bamboo, brought the verses of poet Nguyen Duy to everyday life: "In the storm, body wraps around body/ Hand in hand, we hold bamboo closer together/ Loving each other, bamboo does not live alone/ From that, the rampart is built, my friend...".

Also at the press conference, answering Thanh Nien Newspaper's question about the positive influences that Duc Phuc received from his "teacher" - singer My Tam, Duc Phuc emotionally shared: "I always think of Ms. My Tam in every moment, whether successful or difficult. When hanging out with Erik and Hoa Minzy, I always 'threaten' her: 'I am My Tam's student!', and I am really proud of that. My Tam has always been the person who has inspired me the most in my career as well as in life. My Tam's artistic journey and the way she treats people have influenced me a lot. Especially the way Ms. Tam behaves with her colleagues and actively participates in social activities...".

The Intervision 2025 champion also said that it was My Tam who helped him realize that gratitude and the spirit of remembering one's roots is not a moment in time, but will be deeply ingrained in his subconscious and be the guiding principle for his daily life choices. My Tam is also a singer who actively does charity work, especially with the people of Central Vietnam, to show gratitude to the land that gave birth to him.
