In Thien Cam commune, dozens of houses and shops in the coastal tourist area had their roofs blown off; hundreds of trees were uprooted; many high-voltage electric poles were broken, seriously affecting life and production... In Vung Ang ward, the storm swept through, causing hundreds of houses to be damaged and trees to fall everywhere. To ensure the safety of the people, the ward police set up many working groups, went to each household to support food, and at the same time evacuated people to safe shelters at night.

Coastal communes such as Loc Ha, Nghi Xuan, and Ky Anh also suffered similar damage, with many houses having their roofs blown off and structures severely damaged. Meanwhile, in mountainous areas, heavy rain and strong winds caused many roads to collapse and flood, with the risk of landslides and rock slides present. Police forces in Son Tien and Vu Quang communes promptly put up warning signs and prohibited traffic at dangerous locations; at the same time, organized the evacuation of households from high-risk areas, ensuring the safety of life and property.

According to initial information from the General Staff of Military Region 4, in Ha Tinh alone, storm No. 10 caused nearly 4,800 houses to collapse, roofs to be blown off, 30 electric poles to fall, and more than 100 traffic points to be blocked... Mr. Ho Sy Tinh (Loc Ha commune) shared: his family had to spend a sleepless night because of the howling storm wind, the wind force seemed to want to tear off the roof of the house, everyone was anxiously waiting for the morning. Mr. Nguyen Trong Toa (owner of Sao Mai hotel in Thien Cam) said: Storm No. 10 is much stronger than the recent storm No. 5, causing severe damage to the hotel's roof and door system, the damage cannot be fully counted.

A quick report from Ha Tinh Electricity Company on the morning of September 29 confirmed that the entire province had lost power. Leaders of the electricity industry went directly to the scene, directed forces to inspect the system, count the damage and urgently deploy a recovery plan, ready to restore power as soon as safety conditions are met.

Mobilizing maximum human resources to focus on overcoming the consequences of storms and floods

As soon as the storm subsided, Ha Tinh mobilized all police, military, militia and local authorities to be present at the base, directly supporting people to rebuild damaged roofs, clear fallen trees, and clear roads so that travel could soon return to normal.

Secretary of the Vung Ang Ward Party Committee Tran Xuan Phuong said: after the storm, the ward mobilized all resources, closely coordinated with other forces to overcome the damage, helping people stabilize their lives and return to production with peace of mind. In Hai Ninh Ward, dozens of damaged roofs were rebuilt by the police, army and people.
