On the morning of October 2nd, at the Provincial Cultural, Cinema and Tourism Promotion Center, the 20th Congress of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term entered its third day of work with many important contents and held its closing session.
At the beginning of the session, the Congress heard the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department of the 19th term, Truong Thanh Huyen, on behalf of the Presidium, report on the results of the first meeting of the Executive Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee of the 20th term.

Accordingly, at the first meeting held on the afternoon of October 1st, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, 20th term, elected the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 15 members.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Lam, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Ha Tinh Province for the 19th term (2020-2025), was elected to the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Ha Tinh Province for the 20th term (2025-2030) with 100% of the votes.
The conference also re-elected Mr. Vo Trong Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of the 19th term, to the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee of the 20th term; and elected Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh, Member of the Standing Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, to the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
The Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, 20th term, elected 13 members to the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Mr. Duong Tat Thang, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, was elected to the position of Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, 20th term.
The Congress elected a delegation of 21 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates to represent the Party Committee of Ha Tinh province at the 14th National Congress of the Party.
At the morning session on October 1st, the 20th Congress of the Party Committee of Ha Tinh province also elected 55 comrades to the Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
In his acceptance speech, the Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Duy Lam, pledged to continue strengthening unity within the Party Committee and the Party organization. He promised to always maintain political integrity, remain steadfast in the goals and ideals of the Party; be exemplary in morality and lifestyle; put the interests of the people above all else; maintain close ties with the people, and use the improvement of the people's material and spiritual lives, their well-being and happiness, as a measure of the effectiveness of his leadership and guidance.
Strictly adhere to the Party's Charter and principles, especially the principles of democratic centralism, self-criticism, and criticism; maintain discipline and order; work fairly, objectively, and transparently; strengthen unity and openness; and create an environment for cadres, Party members, and businesses to develop their intellect, innovate, and create for the common good.
We strive for innovation, creativity, decisive action, bold thinking, daring to act, and taking responsibility for the common good; we inherit and build upon the experience of previous generations; and we are proactive and flexible in leadership, guidance, and organization to successfully implement the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress.
The Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, 20th term, hopes to continue receiving the attention of the Central Committee, the assistance and support of former leaders, the coordination of agencies, departments, and localities; and the consensus and support of cadres, Party members, the business community, and all strata of the people, so that we can successfully fulfill our tasks.
“I pledge to dedicate all my efforts and intellect, uphold a high sense of responsibility, promote the exemplary role of a leader, constantly learn, inherit and develop the glorious traditions of the Provincial Party Committee; and together with the members of the Provincial Party Committee, successfully implement the goals, targets, and tasks set forth by the Congress, building our province into an increasingly developed, prosperous, and happy place,” emphasized Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duy Lam.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Lam was born in 1972 in Thai Nguyen province. He holds a Master's degree in Engineering and is a Civil Engineer specializing in bridge and tunnel construction.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Lam previously held positions such as: Director of the Road Construction Management Department, General Department of Roads; Deputy Director and then Director of the Planning and Investment Department; Director of the Construction Management and Quality of Transport Works Department, Ministry of Transport (before the merger); and Deputy Minister of Transport (before the merger).
In March 2025, Mr. Lam was transferred and appointed by the Politburo to the position of Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee.
