Pearl Land continues to commence construction on a housing project for police officers in Ho Chi Minh City.

(Chinhphu.vn) - Amidst the increasingly urgent need for housing for the armed forces and public security forces in Ho Chi Minh City, on December 12th, the Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with Pearl Land Joint Stock Company - the investor - commenced the construction of housing for the armed forces and public security forces in Hiep Phuoc commune.

The delegates pressed the button to officially launch the project.

The event was attended by Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc, Deputy Minister of Public Security ; Mr. Bui Minh Thanh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; and Mr. Nguyen Trong Khanh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pearl Land Joint Stock Company.

Caring for the lives and ensuring stable and sustainable housing for the armed forces and the People's Public Security is not only a responsibility but also a fitting expression of gratitude for the immense contributions of these officers and soldiers. Therefore, the Housing Project for the Armed Forces and the People's Public Security in Hiep Phuoc Commune is launched as a milestone, concretizing the policies and guidelines of the Party, the State, the Ministry of Public Security, and Ho Chi Minh City in caring for the welfare of frontline forces.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc stated that the Ministry of Public Security has always paid close attention to the welfare of its officers and soldiers, especially through housing development programs. The project, launched today, further affirms the decisive leadership of the Ministry in ensuring stable living conditions, creating a foundation for officers and soldiers to work with peace of mind and serve the people.

The housing project for the armed forces and public security personnel in Hiep Phuoc commune, with a total planned area of ​​approximately 15,692 m2, has received investment approval from the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and has been assigned by the Ministry of Public Security to Pearl Land Joint Stock Company as the investor. The project is located on land plots C2 and D1 within the 28-hectare residential area in Hiep Phuoc commune.

The project is located near the Phu My Hung urban area, at the southern gateway of Ho Chi Minh City center towards Can Gio. The project has particularly convenient connections to the Ben Luc-Long Thanh Expressway, allowing for quick travel to the provinces of the Southeast and Southwest regions.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Khanh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pearl Land Joint Stock Company, delivered a speech.

All infrastructure and amenities serving daily life will be invested in a synchronized and modern manner, aiming to create a civilized, convenient, and sustainable living space for officers, soldiers, and their families."

According to Mr. Khanh, the housing project for police officers in Hiep Phuoc commune is one of the first two projects in Ho Chi Minh City implemented under Resolution No. 201/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly and Decree 192/2025/ND-CP of the Government on piloting mechanisms and policies for the development of social housing, following the project in Binh Phu which commenced on December 7th.

Representing the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Mr. Bui Minh Thanh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, affirmed that the project contributes to realizing the goal of expanding the social housing fund, while also creating a basis for police officers to stabilize their lives and contribute to the sustainable development of the city.

With decisive direction from the Ministry of Public Security, support from departments, agencies, and the city, and the commitment of Pearl Land Joint Stock Company, the project is expected to be completed on schedule, becoming a highlight of urban development in the southern part of the city, and making a sustainable contribution to social welfare policies for the armed forces and police in particular, and Ho Chi Minh City in general.
