If you're too busy and forget to maintain your streak on Duolingo, you no longer have to worry about the "anger" of the blue Duo owl icon or feel disappointed in yourself.
Whether you're studying a foreign language, chess, math, music , or any other subject, missing a day won't be the end of the world.

On June 1st, this learning app announced a month-long special offer for forgetful users.
Starting yesterday, players who have lost their streak can restore it by completing three lessons in a single visit.
However, users can only "correct mistakes" during June because the recovery feature is only available during that month.
Streaks are very significant for many Duolingo users. According to the company, more than 15 million users have achieved streaks lasting over a year.
Additionally, an unofficial ranking cited by USA Today shows that the longest streak on Duolingo currently stands at 13 years.
Missing just one day is enough to destroy an entire achievement, so players who travel , get sick, or are distracted can easily lose the effort they've spent years building.
Duolingo offers Streak Freeze and Streak Repair options to maintain a streak, but these require gems and money (to buy more gems).
To reinstate the streak, the learner's previous achievement must be at least 30 days long, and they must complete three required lessons within the same usage period.
Eligible users will see this option appear in their app, reminding them to "revive" their streak.
In a statement, a Duolingo representative said that restoring the lost learning chain is one of the most frequent requests they receive from customers.
"Last year alone, tens of thousands of learners from over 80 countries took to social media to request that their streaks be restored," this person shared.
