DNVN - Sponsored by the Swiss-based Edprima Group, English 1 announces plans to expand its global network to many cities across the country, initially focusing on Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi through a licensing partnership model.

The initial phase of English 1's implementation includes English training centers for children and teenagers, focusing on the two key cities of Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi through licensing partnerships with local partners.

The plan to expand into the Vietnamese market is part of an overall strategy to strengthen English 1's brand presence in Southeast Asia.

“Vietnam is currently one of the most dynamic markets in Southeast Asia, supported by a solid economic foundation and a clear commitment to human resource development. With a continuously growing economy and increasing demand for a workforce proficient in English, the education sector offers attractive opportunities for investors, particularly in the urban family customer segment. In this context, we see this as a great opportunity to contribute to Vietnam’s education ecosystem through structured and standardized learning methods based on international standards,” said Matthew Kenley, Managing Director of English 1 Southeast Asia.

Part of the Swiss-based Edprima Group, English 1 is a member of a global education network with over 60 years of experience in curriculum development and experiential learning. The group currently operates over 300 training centers across Asia, including Indonesia, focusing on building language skills and future-oriented competencies for children and young people.

On a global scale, the Edprima Group is responsible for establishing academic standards, developing training programs, and controlling teaching quality across its entire system, ensuring that students in all countries have a consistent learning experience. This also forms the foundation for English 1's expansion strategy with internationally recognized educational quality.

In its initial phase of market entry, English 1 seeks collaboration opportunities with local investors and operators who share a long-term vision for developing the education sector. This model is expected to accelerate the deployment of training centers while ensuring high relevance to local characteristics during implementation.
