On April 20, in Tay Ninh province, EVNSPC Board of Directors member Hoang Minh Dung directly directed the Southern Power Grid Project Management Board, Tay Ninh Power Company and related units to energize the 110kV Suoi Ngo transformer station project, Tay Ninh province.
Urgently complete items before energizing the 110kV Suoi Ngo transformer station project, Tay Ninh province.
The project has a total investment of more than 35.8 billion VND, with a design scale of 1 transformer with a capacity of 1x63MVA. When put into operation, the project contributes to ensuring safe and continuous power supply for Tan Chau district; improving N-1 reliability and connecting the 22kV grid of Suoi Ngo 110kV station with Tan Hung 110kV station. Meeting the needs of socio -economic development, national defense and security for Tan Chau district in particular and Tay Ninh province in general.
On the same day, EVNSPC also coordinated with related units to energize the project of installing the T2 63MVA transformer, My Phuoc 4 110kV station ( Binh Duong province). With a total investment of more than 37 billion VND, when put into operation, the project will contribute to reducing the load on the existing Thoi Hoa 110kV station, meeting the load demand and N-1 criteria for My Phuoc 1, 2, 3, 4 industrial parks, Thoi Hoa urban area in 2025 and the following years. Connecting the 22kV power grid between the existing Thoi Hoa, My Hoa and Ben Cat 110kV stations, actively contributing to the socio-economic development of Binh Duong province.
Previously, on April 19, EVNSPC coordinated with relevant units to energize the newly constructed 171-block section at the 110kV Nam Phu Quoc transformer station of the project "110kV Phu Quoc - Nam Phu Quoc transmission line" (Kien Giang province).
The 110kV Phu Quoc - South Phu Quoc line is over 19.8km long. Of which, there is a 2.5km underground cable line, with a total investment of about 650 billion VND. The project aims to transmit electricity from the 110kV Phu Quoc transformer station to the 110kV South Phu Quoc transformer station, improving the reliability of power supply to the southern region of Phu Quoc, promoting the socio-economic development of Phu Quoc city.
In Binh Thuan, EVNSPC coordinated with related units to energize the project to renovate, expand and increase the capacity of Ham Tan station from 2x40MVA to 2x63MVA. The project has a total investment of 51.4 billion VND, contributing to ensuring the ability to provide safe, flexible and continuous electricity to La Gi town, Ham Tan district, and Tan Duc industrial park. At the same time, it increases the power backup for neighboring areas.
Project "110kV Tran De line - 220kV Soc Trang station".
In Soc Trang, EVNSPC has also energized and put into operation the newly built 172 and 112 compartments at the 110kV Tran De transformer station - 220kV Soc Trang station, part of the project "110kV Tran De transmission line - 220kV Soc Trang station".
The 110kV Tran De - 220kV Soc Trang transmission line is over 33km long, with a total investment of nearly 127 billion VND. The project is built with the goal of creating a 110kV grid connection loop for the 110kV Tran De, Dai Ngai, and Cu Lao Dung transformer stations from the 220kV Soc Trang transformer station. Ensuring safe and reliable operation of the grid, enhancing flexibility in operational management for transformer stations in the area, transmitting the capacity of future renewable energy power plants to the national power system, creating a premise for the gradual development of smart grids.
In Ca Mau, the project "Phase division of 110kV line from 220kV Ca Mau 2 transformer station to 110kV An Xuyen transformer station", part of the project "Phase division of 110kV from 175 Rach Gia 2 - 172 Ca Mau" has also been successfully energized.
The project "110kV Phase-out from 175 Rach Gia 2 - 172 Ca Mau" has a total length of over 161km, with a total investment of nearly 170 billion VND. The project aims to increase the capacity of transmitting power on the existing 110kV line, meeting the load demand of the region. Strengthening the loop connection between the 220kV Rach Gia 2 transformer station (Kien Giang) and the 220kV Ca Mau 2 transformer station (Ca Mau), increasing the reliability of power supply to 110kV transformer stations in the region, ensuring operation meeting the N-1 standard.
Item "Phase division of 110kV line from 220kV Ca Mau 2 substation to 110kV An Xuyen substation".
Since the beginning of the year, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, from overlapping investment procedures, difficult and unfinished land, arduous construction terrain and geology, and shortage of human resources... with flexible and drastic management, EVNSPC has completed energizing 35 110kV power grid projects.
Employees of Binh Thuan Power Company check items before energizing the project to renovate, expand and increase the capacity of Ham Tan transformer station.
The successful energization of the above projects is a great effort of the project management boards, power companies, SCADA Control Center, Southern Electricity Testing Company, Southern Electricity Consulting Company under EVNSPC; construction contractors, consultants, supervisors. Especially, the great support from the authorities and people of the localities where the projects pass through and the support of the Southern Power System Control Center.
This is also a great effort of the leadership, officers and employees of EVNSPC in response to the 90-day sprint emulation movement "Completing the energization of 50 110kV power grid projects" to celebrate 50 years of EVNSPC "Building - Developing - Lighting up trust" (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and welcoming the EVNSPC Party Congress for the term 2025 - 2030.
