Siemens, one of the world's largest technology corporations, andFPT , a global technology group, have signed a memorandum of understanding to bring high technology into the manufacturing sector, boost semiconductor chip production, and help organizations and businesses in Vietnam and around the world undergo significant digital transformation.
According to the agreement, the two sides will cooperate to develop sustainable infrastructure and industries in Vietnam.
Specifically, FPT and Siemens are collaborating on the following areas: Smart buildings, green and smart data centers; providing digital industrial solutions; and developing automotive software. This partnership aligns with the positions, capabilities, and experience of both parties, opening up new business opportunities and supporting Siemens and FPT's global customers in achieving stronger and more effective digital transformation.
In the infrastructure sector, Siemens aims to become a global supplier partner for FPT in smart infrastructure and data center construction projects, providing smart infrastructure products and solutions. This collaboration will enable FPT to leverage Siemens' advanced solutions to support its global customers.
In the area of digital transformation, both sides provide a digital transformation ecosystem of services and products for each other as well as their respective customers. Siemens hopes that FPT will join Siemens' Xcelerator ecosystem to accelerate the digital transformation process with solutions and applications based on Siemens' technology platform…
At the same time, FPT aims to become a global SI partner in deploying Mendix – Siemens' world-leading artificial intelligence and low-code platform – to facilitate application development for businesses. Based on this platform, FPT will collaborate with Siemens to provide innovative solutions for customers in various industries.
FPT stated that it also hopes to supply semiconductor chips to Siemens in the future and wishes for Siemens to support FPT engineers in participating in advanced training courses, equipping them with the necessary skills and expertise in semiconductor chip design and manufacturing to excel in this dynamic industrial sector.
