On the night of May 15th, according to information from the Trang Bom District Health Center (Dong Nai province), doctors and nurses were providing emergency care to nearly 100 workers (from Dechang Vietnam Co., Ltd., Giang Dien Industrial Park, Trang Bom district).
Many workers experienced vomiting and stomach pain after eating crab noodle soup.
These workers exhibited symptoms of vomiting and discomfort after eating crab noodle soup in the afternoon at the company.
Around 500 people ate crab noodle soup at dinner, and nearly 100 people experienced vomiting and abdominal pain and were hospitalized.
The medical center is monitoring the health of the workers, taking samples for testing, and investigating the cause of the incident.
Reportedly, Dechang Vietnam Co., Ltd. specializes in manufacturing household electrical appliances and has approximately 1,200 workers.
Earlier, in early May, a food poisoning incident also occurred in Dong Nai province after people ate bread from a shop in Long Khanh city, resulting in over 500 hospitalizations. To date, most patients have been discharged, while a 7-year-old child is still being monitored and treated at Dong Nai Children's Hospital.
