During the morning session, VN-Index sometimes dropped more than 41 points before narrowing again. Pausing the morning session, VN-Index decreased by 35,91 points (-2,84%), down to 1.227,87 points. HOSE trading value soared to VND 27.000 billion.
Similarly, HNX-Index also decreased 5,66 points (-2,36%) to 233,87 points. UPCoM-Index decreased 1,8 points (-1,97%) to 89,55 points.

In the afternoon session, bottom-fishing demand somewhat joined in, helping the indexes narrow their decline. Notably, the real estate group has regained its green color thanks to a number of actively traded large stocks, VRE, DIG, TCH increased to the ceiling; While VIC also increased by 3,83%, NVL and PDR also closed in the green.
Securities, banking, wholesale, retail... groups all narrowed their decline compared to the morning session. In particular, the banking group saw EIB increase by more than 3%.
Closing the session, VN-Index narrowed its decline to 20,22 points (-1,6%) to 1.243,56 points. HNX-Index decreased 2,86 points (-1,19%) to 236,68 points; UPCoM-Index decreased 1,03 points (-1,13%) to 90,32 points.
Cash flow continued to pour in strongly in the afternoon session, bringing the whole session's market liquidity to approximately VND 48.000 billion, the highest liquidity session since the record session of November 19, 11 up to now. Of which, on HOSE alone, more than 2021 billion VND was traded.
The most actively traded stocks today were DIG with nearly 79 million shares changed hands, a record number of transactions for this stock; followed by VIX with more than 62,7 million shares, VND with nearly 50,8 million shares. In addition, HPG, SSI, TCH... all traded from 45 - 50 million shares during the session.
