The screening results revealed 22 cases of congenital heart defects in children. Of these, 10 cases required early intervention or surgery; the other 11 cases needed continued intensive monitoring. The total estimated cost for treatment support for these cases is 500 million VND.

The program not only contributes to the early detection of dangerous cardiovascular diseases in children, but also helps reduce the financial burden of treatment for disadvantaged families.
