Tran Gia Bao is an interesting name in HAGL's registration list for V-League 2024/2025. Born in 2008, Gia Bao is 1m75 tall and is the captain of U17 HAGL, winning the runner-up position at the 2024 National U17 tournament. Being registered to play at the age of 16 has made this player known to many fans as "Vietnam's Lamine Yamal".

In the match against Quang Nam , HAGL gave Gia Bao a chance to play. The 16-year-old player surprised everyone by scoring a goal to help HAGL secure a 4-0 victory in the opening match of the season.

After scoring, Gia Bao expressed his joy with the goal in his first match for HAGL. At the same time, Gia Bao also thanked the coaching staff for their guidance and support, as well as the support from his seniors at HAGL to improve himself.

Notably, Gia Bao emphasized one thing to do despite being very happy after scoring his first goal in the V-League: “This is the first goal, a stepping stone for me to try harder every day. I understand that I have to try harder, if others try 1, I have to try 10. I will try my best to compete and try my best to get on the field.”

Despite having scored, Gia Bao clearly understands that his immediate goal is to practice and try his best to gain experience in this year's season. The player born in 2008 also hopes that fans will continue to accompany HAGL.
