In summary, domestic coffee prices fell by 1,400-1,500 VND/kg last week due to pressure from abundant supply as Brazil is about to enter its new harvest season and the prospect of a global oversupply of approximately 10 million bags.

According to expert forecasts, domestic coffee prices will continue to fluctuate sharply and unexpectedly next week. In particular, domestic prices are likely to decline as supply from Brazil increases significantly.

On the London exchange, Robusta coffee futures contracts for May 2026 reversed course and rose slightly by $3/ton to $3,568/ton; contracts for January 2027 also increased by $4/ton, reaching $3,145/ton.
