Coffee and pepper prices are stable

Today, August 20, domestic coffee prices in the Central Highlands region temporarily stopped increasing; pepper prices in key growing areas remained unchanged compared to yesterday.

Accordingly, traders in the old Dak Nong region are purchasing coffee at the highest price of 117,800 VND/kg; unchanged from yesterday. Similarly, coffee prices in Dak Lak province are at 117,600 VND/kg. Coffee prices in Gia Lai province are unchanged from yesterday and are traded at 117,500 VND/kg. Meanwhile, in Lam Dong province, coffee prices are at 117,100 VND/kg.

In the Central Highlands, today's pepper price in Dak Lak is currently at 143,000 VND/kg. Today's pepper price in Gia Lai is at 141,000 VND/kg. Today's pepper price in Lam Dong is unchanged from yesterday, currently at 143,000 VND/kg.

In the Southeast region, pepper prices today in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau) are currently at 141,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday. Dong Nai is unchanged from yesterday at 141,000 VND/kg.

In addition, today's pepper price in Dong Nai (formerly Binh Phuoc) remained unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 140,000 VND/kg.

According to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the price of IR 504 raw rice for export today increased by VND 100/kg, fluctuating at VND 8,550 - 8,650/kg; OM 380 raw rice for export increased by VND 50/kg, fluctuating at VND 8,300 - 8,400/kg; 5451 raw rice fluctuated at VND 9,500 - 9,650/kg; CL 555 raw rice fluctuated at VND 8,650 - 8,750/kg; OM 18 raw rice fluctuated at VND 9,600 - 9,700/kg; OM 380 finished rice fluctuated at VND 8,800 - 9,000/kg; IR 504 finished rice fluctuated at VND 9,500 - 9,700/kg.

At retail markets, rice prices of all kinds are stable.
