Ly Sang, the owner of a lottery ticket agency in Hoc Mon district, Ho Chi Minh City, said that his family had brought the street lottery ticket vendor back to his hometown after he won the jackpot with 11 tickets.
On October 7th, in an interview with a reporter from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Ly Sang (owner of Ly Sang lottery ticket agency in Hoc Mon district, Ho Chi Minh City) confirmed that the information about a street lottery ticket vendor winning 22 billion VND is true.
Mr. Sang said: "The street lottery ticket vendor is from the Mekong Delta, has a leg disability, and used my lottery tickets to sell around. On October 6th, he was carrying dozens of tickets, and by afternoon he almost fainted because he won 11 jackpot tickets and 4 consolation prizes from the Lam Dong Provincial Lottery Company. Afterwards, he gave one jackpot ticket to the person accompanying him and two consolation prizes to the two women who were selling lottery tickets."
According to Mr. Ly Sang, the lottery winner returned 10 winning tickets and 2 consolation prizes to him. "By the morning of October 7th, I had completed the procedures to receive the prize, transferred the money, and his family had come to Ho Chi Minh City to bring him back to his hometown."
Mr. Ly Sang said this wasn't the first time someone had won the jackpot at his lottery agency; many people had won from a few tickets to more than 10 tickets.
