Rice prices today, November 8, 2024: Prices fluctuate, increasing and decreasing by 100

Today, November 8, 2024, rice prices in the Mekong Delta provinces increased, with paddy prices fluctuating by 100-300 VND/kg.

Today, November 8th, rice prices in the Mekong Delta region showed mixed trends, with some increasing and others decreasing. Paddy prices rose or fell by 100-300 VND/kg. Rice prices increased slightly by 50-100 VND/kg.

According to an update from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, today's rice prices have been adjusted compared to yesterday. IR 50404 is priced at 7,300 - 7,500 VND/kg, an increase of 200 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice is priced at 8,200 - 8,300 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice is priced at 7,300 - 7,500 VND/kg, a decrease of 100 VND/kg; OM 18 rice is priced at 8,200 - 8,400 VND/kg, an increase of 100-300 VND/kg; OM 380 rice fluctuates between 6,800 - 7,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 200 VND/kg. Japanese rice is priced at 7,800 - 8,000 VND/kg and Nang Nhen rice (dried) at 20,000 VND/kg.

Rice prices today, November 8, 2024: Paddy prices fluctuated, increasing by 100-300 VND/kg; milled rice prices increased by 50-100 VND/kg.

In the rice market, in Hau Giang and Long An provinces, rice transactions were slow, the supply was low, and prices remained stable.

In addition, the glutinous rice market remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Long An IR 4625 glutinous rice (fresh) at 7,800 - 7,900 VND/kg remained stable compared to yesterday. Long An IR 4625 glutinous rice (dried) at 9,600 - 9,800 VND/kg also remained stable compared to yesterday.

In the rice market, localities such as Soc Trang and Dong Thap have observed stable transactions, slow purchasing by warehouses, low supply, and stable rice prices.

On the rice market, prices have been adjusted compared to yesterday. Currently, the price of IR 504 summer-autumn raw rice is at 10,400 - 10,550 VND/kg, an increase of 50 - 100 VND/kg. Meanwhile, finished IR 504 rice is at 12,400 - 12,550 VND/kg, an increase of 50 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Regarding by-products, the prices of various by-products range from 6,900 to 9,500 VND/kg. Currently, the price of OM 5451 broken rice is 9,300 - 9,500 VND/kg; the price of dry rice bran is 6,900 - 7,050 VND/kg, an increase of 50 VND/kg.

On the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), 100% broken rice was priced at US$427/ton; standard 5% broken rice at US$524/ton; and 25% broken rice at US$495/ton.
