Specifically, the price of fresh OM 18 rice increased by 300 VND/kg, reaching 5,800-6,100 VND. With the same increase, Dai Thom 8 rice is now priced at 5,800-6,100 VND/kg.
With an increase of 100 VND/kg, fresh OM 5451 rice reached 5,500-5,600 VND/kg today; IR 50404 rice is at 5,400-5,500 VND/kg; and OM 34 rice fluctuates between 5,100-5,200 VND/kg.

On the export market, Vietnamese rice prices showed mixed trends compared to the beginning of the week. According to the Vietnam Food Association, fragrant rice with 5% broken grains is being offered at around 400-445 USD/ton; 100% broken grains increased by 1 USD/ton, reaching 330-334 USD/ton; Jasmine rice decreased by 2 USD/ton, fluctuating at 433-437 USD/ton.
On the world market, rice prices in Thailand have increased slightly. Specifically, the price of 5% broken rice for export increased by $3/ton, reaching $339-373/ton, while 100% broken rice increased by $1/ton, reaching $350-354/ton.
In India, the market is stable. 5% broken rice is currently priced at $335-339/ton and 100% broken rice at $283-287/ton.
