Fertilizer prices are rising.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the prices of many types of fertilizers in the area have shown an upward trend compared to the same period last year, increasing the pressure of input costs in agricultural production. At fertilizer stores, NPK 16-16-8 fertilizer (3 colors) costs about 800,000 VND/bag, an increase of about 40,000 VND/bag compared to March and an increase of 150,000 VND/bag compared to the same period last year.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the prices of many types of fertilizers in the area have shown an upward trend compared to the same period last year, increasing the pressure of input costs in agricultural production.

At fertilizer stores, NPK 16-16-8 fertilizer (3 colors) costs around 800,000 VND/bag, an increase of about 40,000 VND/bag compared to March and an increase of 150,000 VND/bag compared to the same period last year.

NPK 20-20-15 fertilizer (3 colors) costs approximately 1-1.2 million VND/bag, an increase of about 300,000 VND/bag compared to the same period last year. Phu My Urea fertilizer costs approximately 890,000 VND/bag, an increase of about 70,000 VND/bag compared to the previous month and nearly 320,000 VND/bag compared to the same period in 2025.

Specifically, DAP fertilizer (Hong Ha brand) remained stable at 1.3-1.4 million VND/bag, about 120,000 VND/bag higher than the same period last year.

Rising fertilizer prices are causing difficulties for farmers.

According to experts, the increase in fertilizer prices is mainly due to fluctuations in the supply of raw materials for fertilizer production on the world market, leading to increased raw material and transportation costs.
