Fertilizer prices today, May 15th, continue to maintain high levels for many key product lines such as DAP, urea, and NPK. The upward trend in fertilizer prices is strongly supporting the profits of many businesses in the industry.
Prices of DAP and urea fertilizers remain high.
A survey conducted on May 15th showed that the price of Russian DAP fertilizer is currently 1,245,000 VND/bag, fluctuating between 1,220,000 and 1,270,000 VND/bag. This is the highest-priced fertilizer on the market today.
Korean DAP fertilizer is being traded at around 1,095,000 VND/bag, with a low of 1,070,000 VND and a high of 1,120,000 VND/bag.
In the urea group, the price of Ca Mau urea is currently 675,000 VND/bag, fluctuating between 660,000 and 690,000 VND/bag. The difference between the low and high prices is approximately 30,000 VND/bag.
NPK fertilizer prices remain stable.
The price of Ca Mau NPK 16-16-8 fertilizer is currently 725,000 VND/bag, fluctuating between 700,000 and 750,000 VND/bag. Phu My NPK 16-16-8 is traded around 715,000 VND/bag.
NPK 16-16-8 Đầu Trâu fertilizer continues to maintain a higher price than comparable brands, reaching approximately 800,000 VND/bag. The lowest price is 780,000 VND and the highest is around 820,000 VND/bag.
In the higher-end range, the price of Binh Dien NPK 20-20-15 fertilizer currently reaches 960,000 VND/bag, fluctuating between 940,000 and 980,000 VND/bag.
Potassium and phosphorus prices remain unchanged.
The price of powdered potassium from Ca Mau is currently around 560,000 VND/bag, fluctuating between 520,000 and 600,000 VND/bag. Powdered potassium from Phu My is priced about 15,000 VND/bag lower.
Lam Thao phosphate fertilizer is sold at 305,000 VND/bag, while Van Dien phosphate fertilizer fluctuates around 315,000 VND/bag. These are the lowest-priced fertilizers on the market today.

Fertilizer companies continue to report large profits.
The sustained high price of fertilizers is helping many businesses in the industry record strong profit growth. Ca Mau Fertilizer (DCM) leads the way with a net profit of VND 788 billion in Q1 2026, a 91% increase compared to the same period last year.
Phu My Fertilizer (DPM) recorded nearly double the profit compared to the same period last year, reaching VND 402 billion, thanks to a sharp increase in sales volume and improved selling prices.
Binh Dien Fertilizer (BFC) achieved a profit of VND 124 billion, an increase of 34%. The company benefited from lower-than-market prices for its raw materials in inventory.
The fertilizer industry benefits from rising prices.
Many fertilizer and chemical companies are directly benefiting from the upward trend in global fertilizer prices. Ha Bac Fertilizer (DHB) recorded a nearly 15-fold increase in profit, reaching 227 billion VND.
Southern Fertilizer (SFG) saw its profit increase by 51%, while Ninh Binh Phosphate Fertilizer (NFC) increased by 39% thanks to improved selling prices and increased sales volume.
However, some businesses are still facing pressure from raw material costs. LAS saw its profits fall by 48% due to sharply rising apatite ore prices and scarce supply.
