Fuel prices have risen for the second consecutive time.

TTH.VN - At 3 PM on March 27th, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade will adjust domestic gasoline and diesel prices according to the established cycle. This is the second consecutive price increase; with RON 95 gasoline rising to nearly 20,500 VND/liter.

At 3 PM on March 27th, retail gasoline and diesel prices in the country increased.

Specifically, the price of RON 95 gasoline (the most common type on the market) increased by 340 VND/liter, with a selling price of 20,420 VND/liter. In addition, the price of E5 gasoline was also adjusted upwards by 340 VND/liter, with a selling price of 20,030 VND/liter. Diesel fuel was adjusted upwards by 320 VND/liter, with a selling price of 18,210 VND/liter.

In today's price adjustment, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance continued to refrain from using funds from the Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum products.

Regarding the petroleum market, the Ministry of Industry and Trade recently issued Circular No. 18, amending, supplementing, and repealing some regulations in the circulars governing petroleum business. Accordingly, from May 2nd, the mechanism for managing petroleum prices will change, eliminating the current inter-ministerial committee of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
