During the adjustment period on August 21, the price of RON95-III gasoline increased by VND210/liter; the price of E5RON92 gasoline increased by VND110/liter, the price of E10 gasoline increased by VND180/liter, at the same time the price of diesel oil decreased by VND170/liter; kerosene decreased by VND210/liter, and mazut oil in this period also decreased by VND150/liter compared to the adjustment period on August 14.

Gasoline and oil prices change from 3:00 p.m. on August 21.

The new gasoline prices were jointly announced by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance at 3:00 p.m. this afternoon (August 21). The price of RON95-III gasoline is 20,090 VND/liter, an increase of 210 VND/liter; the price of E10 gasoline is 19,840 VND/liter, an increase of 180 VND/liter; the price of E5RON92 gasoline is 19,460 VND/liter, an increase of 110 VND/liter; the price of 0.05S diesel is 17,900 VND/liter, a decrease of 170 VND/liter; the price of kerosene is 17,810 VND/liter, a decrease of 210 VND/liter; the price of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil is 15,110 VND/kg, a decrease of 150 VND/kg.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, the world oil market in this operating period (from August 14 to August 21) is affected by factors such as: increased US crude oil reserves, new US tax policies issued by the US President for many countries, upcoming OPEC+ meeting on plans to increase supply... The above factors have caused world oil prices to fluctuate in recent days.

This is the 35th time in 2025 that gasoline prices have been adjusted. Of which, RON95 gasoline has increased 18 times and decreased 17 times, E5RON92 has increased 18 times and decreased 17 times, diesel has increased 16 times, decreased 18 times and kept the price unchanged, and fuel oil has increased 17 times and decreased 18 times.
