Attracting over 200 teachers and students from various schools, as well as artisans from the Thuy Thanh commune's Bai Choi Club, the exchange event showcased the participants' Bai Choi singing skills through themes such as: dramatization; singing based on newly written lyrics about local history; call-and-response singing; and interactive singing.

“Bài Chòi art is an important cultural form in village communities, meeting the entertainment and artistic appreciation needs of the community. This exchange is an opportunity to continue the work of preserving and promoting the value of Bài Chòi heritage, as well as creating a healthy playground for schools in the area and the people,” shared Ms. Cái Thị Duyên – Head of the Culture & Information Department of Hương Thủy Town.

Huong Thuy is known for doing a good job in transmitting, preserving, and spreading the art of Bai Choi, with Thuy Thanh commune being a particularly strong area for developing this art form and boasting many renowned artisans.

Besides holidays and festivals, Bài Chòi is also regularly organized during cultural and tourism events in the town, as well as every weekend at the Thanh Toàn tiled bridge night market in Thủy Thanh commune, thus becoming one of the unique and attractive cultural tourism products.
