Introducing personnel holding key positions in Hanoi City

On the afternoon of November 12, the Hanoi Party Committee voted to pass the Resolution of the 2nd Conference of the 18th City Party Committee (term 2025-2030).

Accordingly, the City Party Executive Committee unanimously voted on the following contents regarding personnel work:

Dismiss Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan from the position of Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council for the 2021-2026 term due to not meeting the age requirement for re-election.

Introduce to elect to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Hanoi People's Council for the 2021-2026 term Ms. Phung Thi Hong Ha, Deputy Secretary of the 18th City Party Committee, term 2025-2030, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the 16th City People's Council, term 2021-2026.

Dismiss Mr. Tran Sy Thanh from the position of Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term because he was assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Chairman of the 13th Central Inspection Commission .

Delegates conducted discussions on personnel work.

Introduce to elect Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung, Deputy Secretary of the 18th City Party Committee, term 2025-2030 (personnel introduced by the Central Committee) to hold the position of Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

Vote to allow Mr. Nguyen Xuan Luu, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, to cease participating in the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee and cease holding the position of Chairman of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee, term XVIII, 2025-2030.

Elect Mr. Do Anh Tuan, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, to hold the position of member and Chairman of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee, term XVIII, 2025-2030.

Adjusting the structure of the Standing Committee of the 18th City Party Committee, term 2025-2030: In the structure of Vice Chairmen of the City People's Committee, there are 3 people (increasing 1 person according to the approved personnel plan); in the structure of Party secretaries of communes and wards, there is a reduction of 1 comrade according to the approved personnel plan.
