The rigorous verification of political qualifications for nearly 1,150 candidates and tens of thousands of related cases played a crucial role in the success of the election.

During the peak period of Tet and political events, the entire province investigated and solved 246 cases involving 596 suspects, achieving a success rate of 96.47%; the success rate for very serious and especially serious cases reached 100%.

Many major cases were handled quickly, creating a strong deterrent effect, such as the theft of a car carrying phone components worth approximately 7 billion VND from Samsung Electronics Vietnam in Thai Nguyen, which was investigated and all assets recovered.

In the field of drug trafficking, authorities have detected and arrested 194 cases involving 279 individuals, dismantling many complex drug trafficking rings. Economic and high-tech crimes have also been dealt with severely, notably the case of falsifying documents for the purchase of social housing worth over 200 billion VND and a tax evasion ring worth 136 billion VND through online business.

In the context of digital transformation, cybersecurity efforts have been intensified, promptly detecting and handling harmful, false, and misleading information, contributing to social stability. The clearest evidence is the impressive socio-economic performance of Thai Nguyen province in the first quarter of 2026, notably its estimated economic growth rate (GRDP) of 8.55%, ranking 15th nationwide, and its leading position in attracting new FDI capital, with total newly registered capital in the first two months of the year exceeding 1.3 billion USD.
