TFL says these changes to Google Maps could improve the experience and safety of 60 million cycle journeys across London and around the world .

Now people can use the new features immediately.

According to previous research by TFL, one of the main issues affecting cyclists is the lack of dedicated cycling planning and navigation tools.

Since then, Google has worked with TFL's research team and industry experts to address and improve Google Maps' routing system to best suit the cycling community.

Now, users can see detailed route information, knowing about the road they will be traveling on. In addition, the integration of immersive view also allows road users to preview routes, including lanes and intersections on the road.

In the future, after collecting data and feedback from users, Google Maps will continue to improve and develop new features, contributing to expanding the road network, creating a friendly and safe environment for the bicycle community.
