The Deputy Minister of Education and Training presented bicycles to disadvantaged students in Tay Ninh.

On December 14th, at the People's Committee hall of Hau Nghia commune, Tay Ninh province, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Van Phuc and his wife presented bicycles to disadvantaged students in Duc Hoa and Hau Nghia communes.

Attending the program were Major General Tran Ngoc Thanh - Director of the Department of National Defense and Security Education ; Pham Quang Hung - Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Information; Dinh Minh Tung - Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Finance; Le Anh Dung - Deputy Director of the Department of Higher Education; representatives from the Tay Ninh Department of Education and Training, leaders of Hau Nghia commune, and sponsoring units.

At the event, the organizers presented 100 bicycles to disadvantaged students at Le Quang Tham Secondary School (Duc Hoa commune) and Truong Minh Bach Secondary School (Hau Nghia commune). These bicycles were sponsored by Trang An Educational Equipment Company, thanks to the efforts of Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Van Phuc.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Van Phuc expressed his hope that the students would continue to strive in their studies and skills development, becoming good citizens and contributing their youthful energy to their homeland and country; he also reminded them to strictly abide by traffic safety regulations when participating in traffic.

On behalf of the local community, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Hau Nghia commune, Truong Minh Hoang, expressed gratitude to the Deputy Minister of Education and Training and the sponsoring unit for their attention and support to the locality, contributing to helping disadvantaged students have a smoother path to school; and encouraged them to be diligent and excel in their studies.
