The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province receives support for disaster relief efforts.

QTO - On the morning of December 15th, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province held a ceremony to receive support for disaster relief from several agencies and units inside and outside the province. Attending the ceremony was Comrade Dao Manh Hung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province.

At the ceremony, Quang Tri Power Company donated 100 million VND; the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Le Ninh commune donated 554.5 million VND; and officials and people of Truong Son commune donated over 180 million VND to share difficulties and support people in localities affected by natural disasters and floods in Central and Central Highlands regions.

On this occasion, Vietnam Airlines also donated 500 million VND and warm blankets to support the people in the flood-affected areas of Quang Tri province.

On behalf of the provincial leadership, Comrade Dao Manh Hung, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, respectfully thanked the agencies, units, and localities for their sense of responsibility, concern, and timely sharing with the people in the disaster-affected areas.

The comrade stated that, in the past period, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province has proactively coordinated with all levels, sectors, and local Fatherland Front committees to accurately assess the damage, promptly receive and distribute support from businesses and philanthropists to the people in the Central and Central Highlands regions, as well as Quang Tri province.

Comrade Dao Manh Hung emphasized that all funds and goods provided as support will be strictly managed, used for the right purpose and for the right beneficiaries, ensuring transparency and accountability in accordance with regulations; he also committed to delivering gifts directly to the affected people, especially poor households and those with particularly difficult circumstances, contributing to helping them stabilize their lives and restore production after the natural disaster.
