According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today, December 14th, a cold front will cause temperatures in some areas of Northern Vietnam to drop below 5 degrees Celsius. The lowest temperatures in North Central Vietnam will be between 12-15 degrees Celsius.

From Thanh Hoa to Hue City, there will be moderate to heavy rain, with very heavy rain and thunderstorms in some areas. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.

In Southern Vietnam, it will be sunny, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in some areas in the late afternoon and evening.

At sea, the Gulf of Tonkin will experience strong northeasterly winds of force 6, gusting to force 7-8, with rough seas and waves 1.5-3 meters high; the wind will gradually decrease at night.

In the northern South China Sea (including the Paracel Islands), strong northeasterly winds of force 7, sometimes force 8, gusting to force 9, will cause rough seas with waves 4-6 meters high.

The sea area from southern Quang Tri to Ca Mau , the central part of the East Sea, and the western part of the southern East Sea (including the western part of the Truong Sa special zone) will experience strong northeast winds of force 6, sometimes force 7, gusting to force 8-9, with rough seas and waves 3-5 meters high.
