Duong Minh Chau Commune: Planting trees and giving gifts to the Ta Mun ethnic minority.

On the afternoon of December 12th, at the Traditional Cultural House of the Ta Mun ethnic group (Tan Dinh 2 hamlet, Duong Minh Chau commune, Tay Ninh province), the Women's Union of Duong Minh Chau commune, in coordination with FPT Software Ho Chi Minh City, organized the program "Planting trees and giving gifts to the Ta Mun people".

Delegates present gifts to the Ta Mun people in difficult circumstances.

Attending the event were the Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of the commune, Huynh Vuong Hieu; leaders of the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune; Mr. Lam Van Luc - Village Elder, representative of the Cultural House Management Board; representatives ofFPT Software Ho Chi Minh City Co., Ltd.; and more than 50 Ta Mun households.

The planting of 500 cassia trees along the roads is a project to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party, the election day of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and deputies to People's Councils at all levels.

At the event, the Organizing Committee presented 40 gifts to disadvantaged Ta Mun ethnic minority households and planted 500 cassia trees along the roads, with a total cost of nearly 40 million VND.

The activities aim to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party, the election day for the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels; and at the same time demonstrate the deep concern, sharing spirit and responsibility of the government, organizations and businesses towards ethnic minority people in the commune.
