Traffic diversion notice for the construction of the Canal 79 bridge on Provincial Road 831.

The construction contract for the Canal 79 bridge, part of the project to build the remaining 6 bridges on Provincial Road 831 (the Vinh Binh – Long Khot border gate section and the Vinh Hung – Tan Hung to Tan Phuoc section), will commence on September 22, 2025 and be completed by March 26, 2027.

Currently, the consortium of contractors constructing the Canal 79 bridge (Thien Loc Investment Trading Construction Co., Ltd. - Dai A Chau Production Construction Trading Co., Ltd. - LH E&C Investment Joint Stock Company) has completed the temporary bridge to serve the transportation needs of bicycles, motorbikes, and people in the area; and is preparing to dismantle and transport the existing iron bridge across Canal 79 to the designated location as proposed by the local authorities.

The Department of Construction of Tay Ninh Province announces: All vehicles and pedestrians are prohibited from crossing the Canal 79 bridge on Provincial Road 831, starting from 7:00 AM on December 15, 2025, until the construction is completed and the bridge is inspected and put into operation (February 23, 2027).

During the construction of the new Canal 79 bridge at the location of the existing iron bridge, vehicles and pedestrians needing to cross this area can use the following route:

- For bicycles, motorbikes, and pedestrians: Follow the route via the temporary bridge that has been placed approximately 30 meters downstream from the existing iron bridge over Canal 79.

- For vehicles with 4 wheels or more: To travel from Vinh Hung to Tan Phuoc and vice versa, go from Provincial Road 831 → 30/4 Road → Provincial Road 819 → Tan Hung Ring Road → Go Thuyen Canal Road → Residential Canal Road 79 → to Tan Phuoc.

Throughout the construction process, the consortium of contractors building the Canal 79 bridge fully installed traffic signs, directional signs, barriers, traffic lights, lighting, etc., in accordance with regulations.

Vehicles participating in traffic must comply with the regulations of road signs and directional signs placed along the route.
