The festival, organized by the Hanoi Department of Tourism in coordination with the Tay Ho Ward People's Committee and other relevant departments and units, is an important tourism promotion activity aimed at honoring, exploiting, and promoting the value of traditional craft villages and streets, while also promoting the unique destinations and cuisine of the capital city. After four days of diverse activities, the festival, themed "Hundreds of Exquisite Crafts, Thousands of Flavors Spreading," attracted over 30,000 visitors, including a large number of international tourists.

According to Nguyen Tran Quang, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism, the 2025 Hanoi Traditional Craft Village and Street Food and Tourism Festival concluded with beautiful flavors, images, and emotions about Hanoi's cuisine, traditional crafts, and streets continuing to spread. Each dish, handicraft product, and craft story in the Festival is a "cultural ambassador" contributing to enriching the identity and attractiveness of the capital's tourism. The success of the Festival once again affirms that Hanoi is not only the political and cultural center of the country, but also a destination for creativity, experience, and emotion, where tradition and modernity coexist and complement each other in the journey of sustainable development. The Organizing Committee will continue to learn from experience, improve the quality of content, and innovate methods so that subsequent festivals will be more professional and attractive, making a practical contribution to building the Hanoi tourism brand of "Safe - Friendly - Quality - Attractive".

Designed with the concept of old streets and ancient houses of Hanoi on an area of approximately 5,000 m², the Festival comprises three main spaces: the craft village and street tourism space "Craft Villages Tell Stories of the Past and Present"; the Hanoi culinary essence space "The Flavors of the Past Remain"; and the destination promotion space "Strolling Through Hanoi".

In the craft village tourism area, traditional crafts from typical villages are displayed and demonstrated, such as: Bat Trang ceramics, Van Phuc silk, Lang Chuong conical hats, Chang Son fans, Ha Thai lacquerware, Thuy Ung horn combs, Phu Vinh bamboo and rattan crafts, Quang Phu Cau incense sticks, Phung Xa weaving, and Chuyen My mother-of-pearl inlay and lacquerware. The craft street area introduces the old craft streets of Hanoi, with stories of Hang Ma street during Tet (Lunar New Year) and calligraphers writing calligraphy. The exhibition of watercolor paintings and art photographs of Hanoi offers a different perspective on Hanoi from artists and photographers who love the city. Skilled artisans, craftsmen, and artists directly guide locals and tourists in experiencing the various stages of product creation.

The "Ancient Flavors Remain" culinary space showcases traditional Bat Trang pottery, Tay Ho lotus tea, and specialties from craft villages such as Lang Vong sticky rice flakes, Phu Thuong sticky rice, Thanh Tri rice rolls, Uoc Le pork sausage… along with signature dishes of the capital city such as pho, bun cha, egg coffee, shrimp cakes, snail noodles... Artisans and chefs will demonstrate and introduce culinary techniques throughout the festival.

The "Strolling Through Hanoi" destination promotion space showcases images of famous heritage and tourist destinations in Hanoi such as Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Temple of Literature, One Pillar Pagoda, Turtle Tower, and Hanoi Flagpole; tours, routes, unique tourism products, gifts, and promotional programs from travel agencies, accommodation establishments, and tourist areas and attractions. Images of typical craft villages such as Bat Trang, Van Phuc, Chuong, Chang Son, Ha Thai, Phu Vinh, Quang Phu Cau, Phung Xa, and Chuyen My are vividly presented through product displays, craft demonstrations, and hands-on experiences.

This year's festival attracted the participation of 10 typical craft villages and streets, nearly 30 artisans and skilled craftsmen, along with representatives from tourism, food, accommodation businesses, and tourist destinations in the capital city. Locals and tourists had the opportunity to directly participate in hands-on activities demonstrating traditional crafts, interact with artisans, enjoy the finest Hanoi cuisine, and experience many attractive culinary and artistic performances.
