Google Unveils Breakthrough Security Feature for Chrome

American technology giant Google has just officially launched a breakthrough security feature for Chrome, promising to solve one of the biggest "headaches" of Internet users.

The new feature is called "Automatic Password Change" and will roll out to Chrome by the end of 2025, after developers have had time to update their apps and websites to support it.

Google's Chrome Password Manager now has the ability to detect weak or compromised passwords. With the new feature, when users log in to supported sites, the browser will automatically prompt them and provide an option to update their password.

Support for Passkey in Chrome has also been extended to iOS by Google to enable secure sync and sign-in across multiple platforms such as Android, Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Linux, and iOS.
