Mr. Ksor Y Giap currently holds the positions of Chairman of the Elderly Association of the commune, Head of the Front Committee, and Head of the Mediation Team. In every role, he works with a sense of responsibility, dedication, and exemplary conduct.

As Chairman of the Senior Citizens' Association, he regularly visits members, cares for their spiritual well-being, and encourages senior citizens to set a good example, participate in maintaining security and order, and build a cultural life. He meticulously organizes all of the Association's programs and activities, contributing to strengthening member bonds and creating a common voice in the community.

Mr. Ksor Y Giap was commended for his outstanding achievements in the movement for national unity in building a cultured way of life in 2025.

As the Head of the Fatherland Front Committee, he directly conveyed the Party and State's guidelines and policies to each household. He persistently explained and encouraged people to adopt a civilized lifestyle, participate in patriotic emulation movements, and contribute to building new rural areas. Thanks to his sincerity, approachability, and credibility, his appeals always received the people's agreement and support.

As the head of the mediation team, Mr. Ksơr Y Giáp has successfully mediated many incidents arising in the village, such as land disputes, family conflicts, and daily life conflicts. With his calm demeanor, understanding of Êđê customs, and skillful handling of situations, most cases are resolved at the grassroots level, contributing to strengthening community bonds and maintaining stability.

Moreover, Mr. Ksơr Y Giáp is a gong and drum artist who is passionate and dedicated to preserving ethnic culture. For many years, he has opened five gong and drum training classes for young people in the villages of the commune and some neighboring villages. In each class, he not only instructs on gong-playing techniques and rhythms but also teaches ancient gong pieces of the Êđê people. From these classes, hundreds of students have learned to play the gongs; many young gong ensembles have been formed, contributing to the preservation of the traditional culture of their ancestors.

With his sustainable coffee, pepper, and durian farming models, his family's income remains stable. He readily shares his production experience and guides villagers in applying scientific and technical methods to improve productivity. As a result, many households in the village have escaped poverty and become relatively well-off or wealthy. Currently, A Riêng village has only 13 poor households, while over 50 households have stable incomes, thanks in large part to Mr. Giáp's contributions.

In recognition of his persistent efforts and contributions, Mr. Ksơr Y Giáp has received numerous commendations and certificates of merit from various levels and sectors. However, the greatest reward for him is the affection of the villagers, who consider him a respected figure in the community.
