Hanoi: 390 candidates absent from Literature exam.

In the first session of the 2026-2027 Hanoi 10th grade entrance exam, the attendance rate for the Literature subject was high, reaching 99.69% of the registered candidates; 390 candidates were absent.

On the morning of May 30th, candidates took the Literature exam - the first subject of the entrance exam for 10th grade in Hanoi's public schools for the 2026-2027 school year.

At the end of the first exam session, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced that 123,692 out of 124,082 candidates took the Literature exam, achieving a participation rate of 99.69%; 390 candidates were absent.

During the Literature exam, one candidate violated the exam regulations by bringing a mobile phone into the examination room; no invigilators violated the exam regulations.

According to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the invigilation of exams at testing sites across the city was carried out according to plan. The personnel on duty fully fulfilled their assigned responsibilities, ensuring the security and safety of the exam.

This afternoon, May 30th, candidates will continue taking the Foreign Language exam in the form of multiple-choice questions, with a time limit of 60 minutes.
