Hanoi to set off fireworks at 6 locations to celebrate 80th National Day

Hanoi will organize 5 fireworks displays at 6 locations to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2.

On August 22, the Hanoi People's Committee issued a plan to organize fireworks displays to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2.

Accordingly, the city has 5 fireworks display points with 6 locations. Specifically, high-altitude fireworks combined with low-altitude fireworks and pyrotechnics (2 locations): Location No. 1 in front of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper Headquarters, Hoan Kiem Ward; Location No. 2 in front of the Hanoi Post Office , Hoan Kiem Ward.

Hanoi has 5 fireworks display locations with 6 positions.

There will be 4 locations for high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks. Specifically, location number 1 is at Coconut Island, Thong Nhat Park, Hai Ba Trung Ward. Location number 2 is in front of the Water Sports Palace, National Sports Complex, Tu Liem Ward. Location number 3 is at Lac Long Quan Flower Garden, Tay Ho Ward. Location number 4 is at Van Quan Lake, Ha Dong Ward.

Hanoi City requests the Hanoi Capital Command to preside over and coordinate with the City Police to closely direct patrolling and guarding work, maintain security and order, social safety, prevent fires and explosions, and ensure absolute safety before, during and after fireworks display at the display sites.

Hanoi City Police develop plans to ensure social order and safety, traffic safety; guide and direct traffic around the fireworks display area; facilitate vehicles carrying fireworks and technical equipment to the site; ensure forces and equipment to perform fire prevention and fighting tasks...

The city requested the People's Committees of Hoan Kiem, Tu Liem, Tay Ho and Hai Ba Trung wards to do a good job of propaganda and agitation, organize cultural and artistic performances to serve the people at the fireworks display sites; ensure timely handling plans when situations arise.

According to the plan, there will be a total of 3,600 high-altitude fireworks (600 fireworks per site); a total of 540 low-altitude fireworks (90 per site); the firing time will be 15 minutes; the firing time will be from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on September 2.
