Tho Xuan Airport ( Thanh Hoa province) has deployed reinforcement to protect facilities and equipment. Stop receiving aircraft from 10:00 to 21:00 on August 25, 2025, and coordinate with airlines to adjust flight schedules.
Phu Bai International Airport ( Hue city) currently has VNB593 aircraft of Green Planet Company parked at the aircraft parking lot, the aircraft has been secured to ensure safety according to regulations.
As of 4:00 p.m. this afternoon, Vinh Airport and Phu Bai International Airport have not recorded any damage to people or facilities.
Vinh Airport ( Nghe An Province) has been closed since July 1, 2025 for repairs and upgrades. Due to the impact of storm No. 5, part of the apron was flooded about 10cm deep, and part of the apron construction fence collapsed.
As of 4 p.m. today, the number of flights affected by storm No. 5 includes: 30 flights having to change routes; 35 flights having to cancel due to the decision to stop accepting aircraft.

Airlines proactively adjust flight plans, promptly notify and update passengers with information related to flight plan adjustments due to the storm's impact so that passengers can have appropriate travel plans.
Regarding the railway sector, as of 4:00 p.m. this afternoon, Train HH51 running to Km399+750, Phuc Trach-La Khe section, discovered a tree falling onto the railway. The dispatcher has notified the railway to coordinate the solution.
Train SE5 reached Km304+900, My Ly-Quan Hanh section, at 15:10 discovered a tree fell on the railway, so the train was stopped in time. The unit resolved the problem and the train ran at 15:27. For the stable condition of the bridge and road, parallel operation is possible.
Currently, the Railway industry has stopped the plan to run train SE9 (Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City) and 2 trains NA1, NA2 (Hanoi-Vinh).
In the management area of the Maritime Port Authorities of Hai Phong, Thai Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Hue, and Da Nang, there are 501 vessels, including 201 seagoing vessels and 300 inland waterway vehicles.
Currently, 127 cargo ships have been safely anchored in the port waters. There are 62 tugboats ready to respond to any accidents or incidents in the area and 5 construction vehicles have been assigned to safe anchorage locations by the port authorities.
In addition, 300 inland waterway vehicles have been assigned by maritime port authorities to safe anchorages and regularly maintain contact with these vessels to promptly guide and handle situations that may pose a safety risk.
Regarding the road sector, as of 4:00 p.m. this afternoon, storm No. 5 began to affect the mainland. The traffic system on national highways managed by Road Management Areas I, II, III and the Departments of Construction has not suffered any damage, traffic is safe and smooth. The Vietnam Road Administration continues to monitor and update the damage situation and will report promptly.
