On the morning of August 26, in alley 17, Tran Khat Chan street, Long Quang ward, Ham Rong ward, Thanh Hoa province, there was serious flooding, many households were completely isolated in the sea of water.
Faced with the emergency situation, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PCCC and CNCH) of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police directed the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 1 to urgently deploy forces and vehicles to the scene.

The working group of 10 officers and soldiers, led by Lieutenant Colonel Do Van Yen, Deputy Head of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, overcame the rainy and windy weather conditions, brought rescue boats to each deeply flooded area, and organized the emergency evacuation of 6 households with about 10 people, including the elderly, children and pregnant women, to a safe place.

“In the event of heavy rain and rising water, our most important task is to promptly approach, evacuate, and ensure the safety of people. Despite the harsh weather, with the spirit of ‘serving the people’, the police force is always ready to overcome difficulties, help people overcome natural disasters, and soon stabilize their lives,” said Senior Lieutenant Colonel Do Van Yen.
The timely presence, decisive and responsible actions of the Fire Police and Rescue Force not only ensure the safety of people's lives and property but also strengthen people's trust and affection for the Police Force.
