Due to the impact of storm No. 5, in recent days, Thanh Hoa province has continuously experienced heavy rain, many low-lying areas have been deeply flooded, traffic has been cut off, posing a potential risk to people's safety. Police units in Thanh Hoa province have deployed 100% of their personnel to promptly support people in storm prevention and control, and evacuate people and property to safety.

On the morning of August 26, in alley 17, Tran Khat Chan street, Long Quang ward, Ham Rong ward, Thanh Hoa province, there was serious flooding, many households were completely isolated in the sea of ​​water.

Faced with the emergency situation, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PCCC and CNCH) of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police directed the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 1 to urgently deploy forces and vehicles to the scene.

Police used specialized canoes to help move people from flooded areas to safety.

The working group of 10 officers and soldiers, led by Lieutenant Colonel Do Van Yen, Deputy Head of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, overcame the rainy and windy weather conditions, brought rescue boats to each deeply flooded area, and organized the emergency evacuation of 6 households with about 10 people, including the elderly, children and pregnant women, to a safe place.
