The Hanoi Department of Health has just issued documents requesting the People's Committees of districts and communes to direct functional units to inspect unlicensed medical and pharmaceutical establishments and those advertising without prior approval of advertising content, and to report the results of handling these cases to the Department of Health in accordance with the spirit of Directive 02/CT-UBND dated February 8, 2023, of the Hanoi People's Committee on strengthening the management of non-public medical and pharmaceutical practice activities.

The establishments inspected included: Huong Giang Dental Clinic, Team 8, Hau Duong Hamlet, Kim Chung Commune, Dong Anh District; Quyen Tam Duong Traditional Medicine Clinic, No. 15, Alley 168, Kim Giang Street, Dai Kim Ward, Hoang Mai District; and BellezzaQT Cosmetic Surgery Clinic, a subsidiary of Bellezza Vietnam Cosmetic Institute Co., Ltd., 19 Mac Thai To Street, Yen Hoa Ward, Cau Giay District.
Agrie Home Internal Medicine Clinic is affiliated with Agrie Vietnam Co., Ltd., located at 120A Phan Ke Binh Street, Cong Vi Ward, Ba Dinh District; Lab Home Medical Laboratory is affiliated with Lab Home Health Consulting and Care Co., Ltd., located on the 1st floor, No. 140, Alley 211, Khuong Trung Street, Khuong Dinh Ward, Thanh Xuan District; Xuan Huong Dental and Maxillofacial Aesthetics Clinic is affiliated with Xuan Huong Aesthetics Co., Ltd., located on the 2nd floor, No. 22 Trieu Viet Vuong Street, Nguyen Du Ward, Hai Ba Trung District; Hong Ngoc Hospital Co., Ltd. Multi-specialty Clinic - Branch, located on the 3rd floor, Block B, Savico Megamall, 7-9 Nguyen Van Linh Street, Gia Thuy Ward, Long Bien District.
Previously, on June 7-8, 2023, the Hanoi Department of Health sent a document to eight districts and counties to inspect medical and pharmaceutical establishments that were advertising without permission. These establishments were found to be posting advertising images before obtaining operating licenses and content approvals when the Department of Health reviewed their applications for medical examination and treatment permits.
At the same time, districts and counties are reviewing and inspecting the operations of medical and pharmaceutical establishments in their areas, focusing on unlicensed establishments and those posting advertisements on websites or social media without proper authorization.
