Hanoi: Rescuers promptly saved people in a fire at a massage parlor.

At approximately 11:52 PM on January 17th, the Hanoi City Police Command Information Center received a report of a fire at a house and business premises located at 11 Alley 339 Minh Khai (Vinh Tuy Ward).

The unit dispatched 4 fire trucks from Fire and Rescue Team No. 9 and the River Fire and Rescue Police Team (Fire and Rescue Police Department - Hanoi City Police) along with 21 officers and soldiers to the scene to quickly deploy firefighting and rescue operations.

Upon reconnaissance, it was determined that the fire was spreading rapidly in the attic area on the first floor, with one resident trapped on the fourth floor. Immediately, officers and soldiers used a rescue ladder to reach the third floor of the house and successfully rescued one victim; at the same time, they deployed a team to completely extinguish the fire.

The relocation of Fire and Rescue Team No. 9 from 51 Lang Yen (outside the Red River dike) to 39 Luong Yen has reduced the distance to the fire from 3.6 km to 2.8 km, and the response time from 7 minutes to 4 minutes. This has allowed the Fire and Rescue Police force to quickly access the scene, promptly rescue victims, and effectively extinguish the fire.
