Hanoi is about to have another 40-meter-wide road in Dong Anh district.

According to the Decision, the plan and location of the road from the new National Highway 3 access road through the Van Ha Commune People's Committee to the end of Dong Anh District, at a scale of 1/500, was prepared by the Hanoi Institute of Construction Planning and appraised by the Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture.

The route begins at its intersection with the new National Highway 3 access road and ends at the boundary between Dong Anh district, Hanoi city and Tu Son city, Bac Ninh province, with a length of approximately 1.84 km.

The road width is 22.5m (6 lanes), with a 3m median strip and 14.5m sidewalks on both sides. At the beginning of the route, where it intersects with the new National Highway 3, the road's cross-section consists of three main components: an overpass over the new National Highway 3 with a width of 19.5m (4 lanes), a northern branch with a width of 21.5m (3 lanes), and a southern branch with a width of 13m (2 lanes).

The intersections are determined based on the approved planned road network. Further studies and precise identification will be conducted during the detailed planning process for the areas on either side of the road or in the approved cross-road investment project.

The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has assigned the Department of Planning and Architecture to inspect and verify the drawings of the plan and the location of the road route according to the approval decision of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

The People's Committee of Dong Anh District will publicly announce the approved road route plan and location so that relevant organizations and individuals are aware and can implement it; strictly manage land and construction order on both sides of the road according to the approved plan and location; and carry out the demarcation of the road boundaries simultaneously with land acquisition and site clearance during the implementation of the investment project.
