Arm pulls and chest presses can be comfortably performed at home during gloomy winter weather to help reduce back fat.
Daylight hours are getting shorter and supermarkets are overflowing with holiday treats. Therefore, fall and winter are challenging times to begin a weight loss journey.
Petra Genco, a fitness expert, introduces two simple exercises that can reduce back fat. The movements in these two exercises can be comfortably performed at home or anywhere. You don't need to leave the house in gloomy weather or when it's pitch black outside.
All you need is a resistance band.
Pull by hand
Stand upright with your feet apart and hold the resistance band in both hands. Extend both arms forward and outward, pulling on the resistance band.
Next, extend your arm forward and repeat the movement 3 times, each time pulling for 15 repetitions.
Chest push-ups
Place the resistance band under both your feet, and hold onto it firmly with both hands.
Lean your upper body toward the ground and pull the resistance band upwards with both hands, keeping your arms close to your body.
Then, return your arm to its original position and repeat this three times, with 15 repetitions each time.
While Genco praises these back fat-burning exercises, Tina—a fitness expert with over 350,000 followers on TikTok—argues that no exercise can reduce fat in any specific area of the body. Instead, you need to create a calorie deficit. This is when your body burns more calories than it consumes. This can be achieved by moving more, eating less, or a combination of both.
