Hai Phong aims to collect 19,000 units of blood in the summer of 2026.

The Hai Phong City Red Cross Society has launched the "Drops of Red Blood - Summer 2026" campaign.

A large number of officials, teachers, and members of the armed forces in Hong Bang ward participated in blood donation.

The campaign aims to raise awareness, encourage participation, and collect over 19,000 units of safe blood, striving to achieve 30% of the 2026 blood donation target, and continuing to spread the spirit of sharing, compassion, and responsibility for the community.

According to the City's Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation, as of May 16th, the entire city had received approximately 33,000 units of blood. In 2026, Hai Phong has been assigned a target of mobilizing and receiving 63,500 units of blood.
