From early afternoon, crowds of people from all over flocked to Vo Nguyen Giap Square. Children in new clothes, holding national flags, happily followed their parents. Elderly people, leaning on their canes, awaited the sacred moment of National Day with radiant faces.

Many families prepared meticulously, as if going to a festival: some brought plastic chairs or mats, others brought water, snacks, and fruit. On every face shone joy and pride at living in peace and prosperity.

When the music started, the stage lit up. The theme "The Spirit of the Nation - The Aspiration of Vietnam" permeated every melody and lyric. Artistic performances praising the homeland and country, interspersed with youthful and vibrant dances, made the space seem to explode with energy.

Throughout the artistic performance, the people were not just spectators, but also immersed themselves in the shared emotion, clapping and singing along. The entire space transformed into a giant choir, where patriotism was elevated in national pride.

For the elderly, the annual Independence Day celebrations are always unforgettable memories. With his eyes still fixed on the stage, watching the spectacular artistic program, Mr. Nguyen Van Tu, born in 1945, residing in Phan Dinh Phung ward, emotionally recounted: "In the early years after the country gained independence, on the morning of September 2nd, we eagerly stood by the roadside listening to the loudspeakers replaying President Ho Chi Minh's voice reading the Declaration of Independence, then joined the adults in shouting slogans. It was a simple joy, but full of spirit. And today, standing amidst the dazzling lights, I see even more clearly how far the country has come, from hardship to prosperity and abundance."

The people were excited before the show began.
People excitedly watched the fireworks display celebrating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd.

While Independence Day celebrations in the past were primarily simple rallies and parades imbued with national spirit, today's National Day has become a grand festival for the entire nation, featuring vibrant cultural and artistic spaces. This change does not diminish the core values but rather enhances the significance of the celebration, reminding today's generations to cherish, preserve, and continue the precious traditions left by their ancestors.

The moment when the entire crowd in the square simultaneously looked up as the first bursts of fireworks illuminated the sky was an unforgettable one. Each spark burst into a brilliant flower, illuminating the entire space. The sound of the fireworks echoed like a drumbeat, like the resounding song of the nation.

Children cheered with delight, while adults gazed up in profound emotion. The entire square seemed to fall silent for a moment that was both radiant and sacred.

In that joyful moment, Ms. Hoang Nhu Quynh, a resident of Gia Sang ward, excitedly shared: "In previous years, I was often busy and only followed the events on television. This year, bringing my children here to watch the fireworks together, I feel incredibly happy. I understand that Independence Day is not just a holiday, but also an opportunity to remind children about history and the value of freedom."

According to Comrade Duong Van Luong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Phan Dinh Phung Ward: As one of the three localities in the province selected to organize the art program and fireworks display to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd, the ward mobilized forces and coordinated closely to ensure security and order, helping people participate in the festival safely and enthusiastically.

From today's joy, the people will have more motivation and confidence to work together to build Phan Dinh Phung ward and Thai Nguyen province into an increasingly civilized, prosperous, and beautiful place.

The art and fireworks display celebrating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd has ended, but its impact still resonates. On the streets, people linger, sharing stories and smiles. Children excitedly recount the most dazzling fireworks displays, while adults discuss the emotionally resonant artistic performances. This joy will not last for just one night, but will become a flowing stream, a driving force for tomorrow.

Today's Independence Day is a continuation of the past, from simple joys to abundant happiness, from aspirations for independence to aspirations for development. In the dazzling light of fireworks, Thai Nguyen, along with the rest of the country, is writing new chapters in history—chapters of peace, prosperity, and unwavering faith in the future.
