According to Dan Tri reporters, on the morning of September 13, more than 100 workers came to the above company to submit their job applications. Despite the hot and humid weather, many people still lined up in the sun, waiting for their turn to be interviewed.

The young man from Thanh Hoa said he worked at a leather shoe company in An Phu Ward. However, recently the company had little work and gave workers Saturdays off, causing his income to decrease.

Knowing that the golf club manufacturing company was recruiting a large number of unskilled workers, he quickly brought his resume here to find a job, hoping to have a stable income.

"Because of the layoff, if I work full-time at the shoe company, I will only get more than 7 million VND, including allowances. Even though I don't have a family yet, that salary is not enough for my expenses," the young man shared.

According to the young man, if the application is approved, the next day, the employee will come to the company to study for 1 day and go to work immediately after that.

While hundreds of people were lining up in the sun, a worker ran out of the interview room with a rather happy expression and said: "Your application is approved, the company has accepted you."

This male worker said he had been unemployed for a month. He previously worked at a paper cutting machine manufacturing company in Song Than Industrial Park. For him, getting a job now is like "finding gold".

Businesses still need workers

According to reports from the authorities, in the last 6 months of this year, businesses in Binh Duong province need about 20,000 workers. In addition to wood, garment, leather shoes, food processing, confectionery, and service industries need a large number of workers to serve the Tet holiday.

However, most companies still only recruit skilled workers who can meet the order needs of large partners.

Mr. Pham Van Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Duong province, said that in order to contribute to stabilizing the labor relations situation and supporting businesses and workers, the Department has coordinated to deploy solutions to connect labor supply and demand, and regulate labor from businesses that do not have enough jobs to businesses that lack labor.

According to information from Binh Duong Employment Service Center, some other units are recruiting 300 unskilled workers (mainly garment workers).

Binh Duong Provincial Employment Service Center regularly collects information from businesses with recruitment needs in the area, promptly connects information, supports workers in accessing job positions, and introduces workers to businesses to submit applications on the same day.

In addition, the center also regularly opens direct and online job trading sessions at the center.
