The kindness of Mr. Nguyen Anh Vu has created a special restaurant for the poor.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Vu - Founder of Tam Thuong Charity Fund shared: "I want to share the difficulties with the people, when the meals are more and more expensive, the life of the poor workers is more and more difficult. If in the summer, a meal consists of 4 main dishes, in the winter the menu is changed to include 8 dishes so that everyone can eat more fully. The people heard the news and came in large numbers and told each other to line up to receive rice like in the old subsidy period. Every Monday noon, seeing many people coming, the joy of me and the volunteers in the group increases."

Economic difficulties make the workers even more burdened. The spirit of mutual love has probably been imbued in every page of children's books to the daily work of the Vietnamese people. In order to share the difficulties of workers and the disadvantaged, Tam Thuong Charity Fund organizes a program to sell full, nutritious and hygienic meals for only 1,000 VND every Monday at 405 Bach Dang - Hoan Kiem - Hanoi.

After 33 weeks of persistently implementing the charity rice program, the campaigners have felt the warmth and necessity of the 1,000 VND meals reaching those in need.

Vietnamese dishes are selected by chefs from fresh, seasonal ingredients. Chefs will encapsulate their love of cuisine in each dish to send to special guests. From meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, all have clear origins, foods are processed and used on the same day to ensure food hygiene and safety.

In the early winter days of Hanoi, meals with guaranteed ingredients seem to want to share and dispel the harshness of the weather. “The way you give is better than what you give” is a model of kindness and respect for the values of “helping each other” that have existed for thousands of years in the Vietnamese nation.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Vu has implemented this model since 2015, and up to now, the value of 1,000 VND rice has received support from the people.

According to local people, each meal only costs 1,000 VND but is so full that the ladies and gentlemen can eat it in 2 meals.

By only paying 1,000 VND, workers and poor people who have to “work hard to make ends meet” can become “customers” who are served attentively with respect and sharing by a restaurant located in the center of Hanoi.

In particular, Vu always reminds volunteers to have a polite attitude, always listen and share with people who come to buy 1,000 VND rice."

Tam Thuong Charity Fund has had charity activities such as "Tet Trip" or activities to help the disadvantaged and disadvantaged, the 1,000 VND meal program is also an annual activity launched by the fund at restaurants in Hanoi.

Accordingly, at the end of December, the 5th Love Connection program will take place, organized by Tam Thuong Charity Fund together with other organizations, individuals and volunteers to join the charity trip in Co Lo village (Pa U commune - 138 households), Dau Nam Xa village (Bum To commune - 167 households), Nam Xa village (Bum To commune - 120 households), Nam Phin village (Nam Khao commune - 89 households) in Muong Te district - Lai Chau. With an expected support budget of up to 700 million - 1 billion VND including: 6 tons of rice, 520 large warm blankets, 1100 boxes of instant noodles, 520 mats, 520 bottles of fish sauce, 5200 packages of seasoning powder, 1100 kg of peanuts, 520 aluminum pans, 520 stainless steel pots, 520 aluminum pots, 520 kg of pork floss, 2000 candy portions for children, 1100 children's life jackets, 2000 children's fleece pants, 520 bottles of cooking oil, ... and sponsors supporting cash.

In addition, the organizers also called for donations of old clothes to give to the people and children in the mountainous areas.
