At 3:00 AM on February 10th (the 23rd day of the 12th lunar month), the courtyard of the Khe Sim Company's workers' dormitory (19th Army Corps) was bustling, dispelling the cold night. In the early morning light, laughter and conversation mingled with firm handshakes and heartfelt New Year's greetings exchanged between unit leaders and workers before the workers boarded buses to return home to reunite with their families. On these "Reunion Buses for a Happy New Year," the luggage consisted of bags of gifts and supplies prepared for the holiday, along with joy, peace of mind, and a sense of shared joy as spring arrived.
This year, Khe Sim Company arranged 18 buses to take nearly 400 workers from Bac Kan, Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang, Nghe An, Ha Tinh , and other provinces back to their hometowns for Tet (Lunar New Year) and also organized transportation back to the company after the holiday. These Tet buses represent a meaningful journey home, strengthening the bond between the company and its workers, and contributing to a fulfilling and warm Tet celebration in their hometowns.
Sharing his joy before departure, Mr. Pham Ngoc Tuan, Team Leader of Exploitation Team No. 3, Construction Site 1, emotionally said: “I am from Tuyen Quang , and I have been with the company for 15 years. In the days leading up to Tet, I am very happy that the company has shown concern by arranging transportation for us to return home for the holidays. Thanks to this support, we can more easily reunite with our families sooner. Salaries and bonuses are always paid promptly and transparently, transferred to our accounts, giving us peace of mind and enthusiasm. This year, salaries, bonuses, and benefits are higher than last year, creating more motivation for us to stay committed and work better in the new year.”

According to statistics, during the 2026 Lunar New Year, the 19th Army Corps and its member units arranged over 50 buses, transporting nearly 1,000 workers from distant provinces back to their hometowns to celebrate Tet, clearly demonstrating the responsibility and solidarity of the enterprise with its employees.
The transportation services that take workers home for Tet (Lunar New Year) have become a distinctive cultural feature of TKV's affiliated units, appreciated and valued by employees as a meaningful spiritual gift every spring. This practical care helps workers feel secure and enjoy a complete Tet holiday with their families before returning to the urgent work pace in the mines and tunnels.
According to the plan, during this year's Lunar New Year holiday, units throughout TKV (Vietnam Coal and Mineral Group) will arrange over 500 bus trips, including trips to take workers home for the holidays and bring them back to the units after the holiday, serving more than 19,300 workers and their relatives. In addition, the Group and its member units will provide bus ticket subsidies for approximately 17,600 workers, with subsidies ranging from 500,000 to 1 million VND per person, totaling over 11 billion VND in support.
Mr. Ngo Xuan Thuy, Deputy Director of Mong Duong Coal Joint Stock Company, said: During the 2026 Lunar New Year, the company ensured full payment of salaries and bonuses for employees, including a 13th-month salary, helping staff and workers feel secure in celebrating Tet. In addition, the company organized 40 bus trips to transport approximately 1,600 staff, workers, and their relatives back to their hometowns for Tet, and also arranged transportation to bring workers back to work after the holiday. The buses used high-quality vehicles, ensuring convenient, fast, and safe journeys. This demonstrates the practical concern and responsibility of the enterprise towards its employees, contributing to helping workers feel secure in reuniting with their families and strengthening their bond with the company.

Along with transporting workers and laborers back to their hometowns for Tet (Lunar New Year), during the Tet holiday of the Year of the Horse 2026, transportation services from the mainland to Co To Island and vice versa were actively implemented, ensuring the travel needs of officials and citizens, transporting essential goods, and serving tourists. According to the leaders of the Co To Special Zone, on the 29th day of the 12th lunar month, the Co To Special Zone organized a spring ferry service, providing free trips to the island and back to the mainland for military personnel, civilians, and officials. At the same time, transportation units in the area will maintain daily passenger and cargo transportation operations, expected to continue until the 29th day of the 12th lunar month and resume operations from the 2nd day of Tet, contributing to ensuring smooth and safe traffic during the Lunar New Year holiday.
The reunion buses and spring trains have contributed to creating a warmer and more fulfilling Spring 2026, affirming the concern and support of the Party committees, government, and units and businesses in the province in caring for the lives, strengthening trust, and fostering strong bonds between the locality and the workers and people.
