Ca Mau's coastal and forest-side tourism is attractive.

In the mangrove forests of Ngoc Hien district, the Famtrip delegation surveyed several tourist routes in Ca Mau Cape: the final point of the Ho Chi Minh Trail; the symbol of the ship at Ca Mau Cape; the Lac Long Quan Temple and the Mother Statue; the Hanoi flagpole at Ca Mau Cape; the national GPS coordinate marker 0001; the symbol of the Ca Mau crab; the tourist route through the forest to the coastal alluvial plains of Ca Mau Cape National Park; and the Ca Mau Cape - Khai Long clam bed route in Rach Tho hamlet, Dat Mui commune.

To add excitement for tourists, at each destination, members of the Famtrip group also participated in hands-on activities, such as: at some community tourism spots in Ca Mau, activities like casting nets, setting traps to catch crabs, fishing, catching mud crabs at night, and gathering clams along the coast...

During this survey trip, the Famtrip delegation also visited the Provincial Party Committee Base Historical and Cultural Site in Phu My commune (Phu Tan district) and explored the natural landscape at Thi Tuong Lagoon in Phong Lac commune, Tran Van Thoi district. This beautiful natural lagoon is considered a "lake-sea" in the Mekong Delta region.

According to many members of the group, the destinations in Ca Mau this time were quite attractive with beautiful natural landscapes and the gentle, friendly, and hospitable people of Ca Mau…

Offering a fresh experience for tourists, the tourist destinations have also restored traditional three-room houses without doors, invested in ideal spaces for visitors to take photos and enjoy the sunset amidst the vast forest and sea... A highlight of the field trip was also the culinary aspect, with many delicious and unique specialties that are characteristic of the land and people of the Ca Mau mangrove forest region.

Before concluding the field trip, the leaders of the Ca Mau Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism took the time to inform the delegation about several large-scale strategic tourism development projects that Ca Mau is implementing and inviting investment in, including the Thi Tuong Lagoon tourism development project. The leaders of Ca Mau's tourism sector also listened attentively to the suggestions of the Famtrip members regarding Ca Mau's tourism products and services, and the connection of tours and routes between travel companies and localities, contributing to the further development of "green tourism" and experiential tourism in Ca Mau.

On behalf of the Ca Mau tourism industry, the Director of the Ca Mau Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Tran Hieu Hung, thanked the Famtrip delegation for their enthusiastic participation in this field survey. He also stated that, currently, Ca Mau is exploiting tourism based on existing resources and within the management capabilities of the province's tourism workers, focusing heavily on ecotourism and community-based tourism.

Through this field trip from mangrove forests to melaleuca forests, the head of Ca Mau's tourism industry also hopes that journalists and members of the Famtrip delegation will continue to provide advice and encouragement to tourist destinations and households involved in tourism... to better exploit the tourism potential and strengths of the locality, so that more and more tourists will know about Ca Mau's unique tourism "specialties".
